Founded from a deep appreciation for the equestrian lifestyle, Equine Elegance was established to represent one of the world’s most respected equestrian brands within South Africa. Following more than a year of dedicated relationship building and collaboration, Equine Elegance proudly became Cavalleria Toscana’s exclusive South African partner.

Our Story
The name Equine Elegance reflects a belief that equestrian fashion should honour both the grace of the horse and the dedication of the rider. It celebrates a lifestyle where passion, discipline, and sophistication naturally converge.
Behind the brand is founder Nina Neeleman, whose entrepreneurial journey spans nearly two decades. With a background in somatology, luxury retail, and business ownership, she has built her career around exceptional service, meaningful client relationships, and meticulous attention to detail.
Having successfully established and sold businesses while operating a thriving salon since 2007, Nina developed a reputation for professionalism and excellence—qualities that continue to shape the Equine Elegance experience today. Her appreciation for luxury brands, combined with a genuine passion for the equestrian world, laid the foundation for what would become Equine Elegance.
What began as a mother’s desire to support her daughter Katy’s equestrian journey soon revealed a gap in the South African market. As Katy progressed in the sport, it became increasingly apparent how limited the availability of leading international equestrian brands was locally. Recognising an opportunity to serve the South African equestrian community, Nina set out to create a destination where riders could discover the same quality, innovation, and sophistication enjoyed by equestrians around the world.
Today, Equine Elegance remains proudly family-led, built on a foundation of authenticity, personalised service, and a genuine understanding of the equestrian lifestyle.
